Remy and Scott stared at each other in the mirror.

 

"What do you think you're doing?" Scott snapped as Remy spun around to face him. "What if Rogue saw you like this?"

 

"I--"

 

"We all put up with your shenanigans," Scott went on, "but sometimes you cross the line." The anger in his gaze felt as strong as an optic blast.

 

"But--"

 

"Get changed and get downstairs." Scott turned and marched out of the room.

 

When the door slammed closed, Morph allowed themself another moment to look at Remy's reflection. "I just miss him," they whispered to themself.
