X-Men 100 words Drabble Challenge

Hello there, new member! This community was inspired by batfic100 and twilight100.

o1. Your drabble needs to be exactly 100 words. No more no less. Regardless of the small word count, each drabble must be underneath an LJ cut - if you don't know how to use an LJ cut check LJ's FAQs. These drabbles also must be brand new and written specifically for the community. No using past works.

o2. The goal of this community is to have fun of course, but also to bring your team to the winning position for each weekly challenge. Each drabble written constitutes as 10 points for your team and will be counted up at the end of each week.

o3. You can post as many times as you like in the given week. In fact, it's encouraged. The more you post, the more likely your team will win.

o4. For each challenge, the member of the team who won & had participated will be awarded a banner. This will be announced when new challenges and previous challenge winners are posted.

o5. You are required to put your own tags.

Here is an example:
author: (your username), challenge: (challenge title here), team: (your team)
author: flareonfury, challenge: thanks, team: x-men

Don't forget to add your universe, character & pairing tags, too!

Here is an example of them:
character: (name), pairing: (names), universe: (title)
character: scott "cyclops" summers, pairing: emma/scott, universe: house of m

For pairing tags, the women's names are ALWAYS FIRST... if it is a femm/slash pairing then it would be whoever's name comes first in alphabetical order.

o6. When posting, use the guidelines given in the user info and please put your username, your team & # of drabbles in the subject line.

Here is an example:
your username // team (your team) // # Drabble(s)
flareonfury // team x-men // 5 drabbles

o7. Crossovers are not currently allowed. (There WILL be challenges that will allow crossovers though!)

o8. Original characters are okay, as long as they aren't the main focus of your drabble.

If i'm on team x-men/brotherhood/sentinel, am i restricted to writing about just x-men? brotherhood? sentinel?
That's the beauty of it! NOPE! You can write about whatever and whoever you want, as long as it's in the X-men universe.

Can i post more than one drabble in a single post?
Yes and in fact it's encouraged. It helps member flists stay unclogged (so I'm told anyway).

Can i link my drabbles, like a drabble series?
Of course!

Are we allowed to post our drabbles to other communities?
Most definitely! It's your writing - do whatever you want with it.
