Jean wasn't spying, exactly...she wasn't even prying with her powers. But Remy and Rogue's argument had gotten so loud it was hard not to hear it.

Hard, but not impossible. Jean could have kept walking, could have given them the privacy they probably thought they had. Instead, she let herself linger outside the closed door.

Part of her hated hearing her friends fight...but part of her savored the knowledge that she and Scott weren't the only ones whose relationship had gotten a little rocky recently. 

And as she went on listening, another part of her wished she had some popcorn.
